Hi!
I am a food stylist, photographer, and recipe developer based in Long Beach, California. I work from my home studio and kitchen, where I create, test, style and photograph recipes. My studio is filled with an array of tabletop props, ranging from vintage flatware to hand thrown pottery and linen napkins.
Fifteen years ago, I began my career as a photojournalist for newspapers, covering everything from women’s reproductive rights in Arkansas to the devastation of hurricanes in Houston, Texas. Through journalism, I learned that the best way to connect with a stranger and hear their story is over a shared meal—and that food and mealtime are deeply woven into both humanity and storytelling. These lessons led me to transition into food media and continue to shape my approach today. After all, even the food on our plates has a story to tell.
My work has appeared in National Geographic, NPR, The Food Network, The New York Times, Oprah Winfrey Network, TODAY Food, Buzzfeed Tasty, The Kelly Clarkson Show, Sams Club, Traeger Pellet Grills, Ten Speed Press, and Chronicle Books, Lucky Peach, The Spruce Eats, Beach Body, Shakeology, CNN, TIME magazine, Huffington Post, Netflix, Life & Thyme, Harmless Harvest, Angelic Bakehouse, McCormick, and Frieda's Specialty Produce.
I’m also a mother, wife, friend, and exceptional hugger. I care most about human connection, empathy, and engaging in my local community. I feel most myself in my home kitchen making meals for my babies.
